Here is your quintessential central coast Pinot Noir! While this is not a well known area, the missions have been growing grapes here since 1852. This vineyard is on the western side, close to the Monterey County line. Fresh strawberries enjoyed on the forest floor with mushrooms and fairies flirting around you.

    About us...

    First Playground wine in the garage that started it all

     

     

    ...We left the midwest over two decades ago in search of our big adventure. We wanted to move to wine country but it would take a few years of planning. Joe took sabbaticals to work harvests and Suzanne left the corporate world to get her Sommelier Level Two certification and worked tasting rooms and a wine bar. The stars finally aligned and to wine country we went!

    It started with buying some barrels of juice and tinkering with blends and then two years of making garage wine. That second year in wine country, while our little one enjoyed time on his swing set, we enjoyed one of our recent blends and while watching the sunset on the Mayacamas, we realized this is our playground and thus a wine label was born.
